General Manager - Andrew
Williams
Andrew Williams was responsible for the
founding of MedFleet in 1993 when PTS Ambulance
Service was acquired. As General
Manager, Andrew is charged with the responsibility to execute the
business plan of the company, implement the policies and procedures,
maintain relationships in the business and healthcare communities, and collaborate with all regulatory entities to ensure
compliance with relevant legal authority, and ensure the safe and
effective service to the Citizens of Pasco County.
Andrew graduated from Florida State
University in 1991
with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business. For two years after
graduating from college, Andrew worked with MedFleet’s
corporate affiliate Wheelchair Transport Service, Inc. in their Business
Development/Special Projects department where he was heavily involved in
both public and private sector contracting. Upon the successful acquisition of PTS,
Andrew assumed the role of General Manager of the newly formed MedFleet. In
1995 Andrew successfully completed the prestigious Ambulance Service
Management Training Certification Program sponsored by the American
Ambulance Association and conducted by the nationally recognized
consulting firm Fitch & Associates. Andrew held this position for
five years until 1998 when he left the company to pursue career
opportunities in the telecommunications industry with GTE/Verizon as a manager in their network engineering
department.
After five years with Verizon,
Andrew returned to MedFleet in November of 2003
and is again charged with the responsibility of leading MedFleet.
Andrew’s history with MedFleet provides
him with an abundance of knowledge and experience necessary to implement
the services to exceed the expectations of our customers, employees, and
stakeholders.
Operations Supervisor - Chris Astleford
Chris Astleford,
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in his role of Operations Supervisor
for MedFleet, has the authority and
responsibility to ensure the effective execution of the day to day
business plan, and reports directly to the General Manager. Prior to beginning his career with MedFleet in 1995, Chris worked as a volunteer fire
fighter in Pasco
County for several
years. He started out as a first responder/ fighter fighter
and progressed to an
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / Lieutenant Fire
fighter. Chris has taken several management, supervision and specialty
classes. Chris is also a certified Cpr, First
Aid and First responder instructor. Chris also has obtained Advanced Life
Support experience from a 911 system in citrus county. Chris has held
every operational position in the company and performed exemplary at all
of them
