History Our History
Since its inception in 1993, MedFleet has been committed to providing quality ambulance service. We provide services in Pasco, Hernando, Pinellas and Polk Counties, in Florida. Based in New Port Richey, Florida, MedFleet focuses largely on both emergency and non-emergency interfacility transports, providing a needed service in the Western and Central regions of Florida. We maintain multiple contracts with the area’s hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities. We also partner with county Fire Departments providing back-up 911 service. Our professional, highly trained staff are local residents living in the communities we operate and are committed to providing courteous and compassionate care to those we serve.
In February, 2020, MedFleet became part of the PatientCare EMS Solutions family of companies. PatientCare provides ground-based 911 emergency ambulance and other critical healthcare services around the country.
